In case you missed any of the interviews for the month of February, I posted them below. They were all great and inspiring. Once again, I would like to thank Liz Jones, Dr. James Tomasi, Dr. Ray Drury, and Dr. Darren White for their time. Enjoy!
Upper Cervical Student Passion: An Interview With Liz Jones- Liz Jones is a student at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. I’ve gotten to know her a little bit through Facebook, mainly because we’re both LDS and Upper Cervical Chiropractic advocates. She has been instrumental in Western States inviting Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Sr. and Dr. Robert Kessinger to speak to the students about Upper Cervical Chiropractic. She has inspired me to do more and say more in the name of Upper Cervical Chiropractic in any way I can, as I am sure she has for other Upper Cervical Chiropractic students around the country.
Advocating Upper Cervical Chiropractic: An Interview With Dr. James Tomasi- Dr. James Tomasi’s life was changed by Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic. He spent twelve years suffering from tic doloureux, otherwise known as Trigeminal Neuralgia, or TN. That is until Upper Cervical Chiropractic gave him back his life. Since then, he has been one of the most vocal, if not THE most vocal advocates of Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic care. His work has impacted so many that Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic awarded him an honorary chiropractic degree in 2007.
Upper Cervical Global Vision: An Interview With Dr. Ray Drury- Dr. Ray Drury is one of the founders of Upper Cervical Health Centers, a company designed to help Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractors own and operate their own successful clinic. Dr. Drury owned and operated four successful Upper Cervical Chiropractic clinics for 14 years before he realized he wanted to teach other Upper Cervical Chiropractors the same system he had developed. Along with Dr. Thad Vuagniaux, Dr. Drury grew tired of seeing many Upper Cervical Chiropractors fail in business. Together, they created Upper Cervical Health Centers, and have watched it grow, now, into a worldwide company.
Introducing Upper Cervical Into Corporate America: An Interview With Dr. Darren White- I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Darren White at the Blair Conference this past September in Dallas. Dr. Darren actually received the 2008 Blair Chiropractor of the Year award there. I should also add that he spent months of his free time organizing and putting the conference together. On top of that, he has been flying down to Life West in Hayward, CA from Seattle to teach the Blair Upper Cervical technique to students there. Despite all this, I was really struck by how humble and down to earth he is. I had corresponded with him via email and Twitter before then, but it’s tough to grasp someone’s personality through the internet.
