Upper Cervical Chiropractic Blogs You Should Read

by Brandon Harshe, DC on March 24, 2009

Today I wanted to post a link to some of the blogs that I enjoy the most. I think these blogs have valuable information and really do offer tips and strategies that you can apply to your life. I have learned a lot reading these blogs, and I thought I would share them with everyone.

Upper Cervical Chiropractic Blogs

Dream Practice- This is Dr. Darren White’s blog. He offers numerous practice and success strategies that you might not normally hear about in the world of chiropractic practice management. Very informative and very outside-the-box. A must read for the Upper Cervical Chiropractor who wants to achieve more in practice and in life.

That Something- This is the blog of Dr. Shawn Dill. Again, another Upper Cervical Chiropractic blog that encourages us to think outside the box. In fact, Dr. Dill will call you out for not thinking outside the box. His passion is evident in his blog and makes it a quality read.

Upper Cervical Docs- This is the blog of Dr. Paul Hambrick. Dr. Hambrick offers valuable advice on how to properly market Upper Cervical Chiropractic. He also regularly posts audio feeds of interviews he’s done with various Upper Cervical Chiropractors. An informative blog and an overall good read.

Two More Blogs Not Related to Upper Cervical Chiropractic

Zen Habits- Leo Babauta started this blog in 2006. Within one year, Zen Habits became one of the top 100 blogs in the world, garnering him over 2 million readers a month. He recently published his first book entitled The Power of Less. His book and his blog focus on simplifying life and being as efficient as possible. He offers very helpful tips on how to live a productive, stress-free life. I highly recommend this blog, and his book.

The Blog of Tim Ferriss- Tim Ferriss wrote one of my favorite books, the 4-Hour Work Week. He routinely writes about things the average person would never dream of. His book showed how someone can work very little, yet maximize their income into providing amazing life experiences. Very interesting and thought provoking blog.

Take a look at these blogs. They really are worth your time and won’t disappoint you.

Happy reading!

Is it ok to get this treatment if you have a plate in your neck?

4 Brandon Harshe, DC July 21, 2011 at 10:58 am

Probably no problem, as the atlas and axis usually aren’t surgically fused, but still, x-rays are probably a good idea.

ok, my plate is at c3/c4. Do you have any information about what they call retracing? Is it bad. lol

I forgot to ask you if we need other adjustments than this, I ask because I have tingling in my arms sometimes and I have to have My T1 and C7 moved.

Cathy, I don’t know who told you that you need your T1 and C7 removed but that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. The doctor who is telling you that doesn’t know what he/she is talking about, especially not if they know anything about the body. DO NOT get that done. You will regret it the rest of your life, I can guarantee you that. You will be fine to get under Upper Cervical Chiropractic care, but it is not a one time thing. It takes a commitment to getting better. It’s almost as if we’ve learned our whole lives to take care of teeth, but we should have also been learning to take care of our spines and nervous system. I suggest you read the following page and check out the links to other articles at the end of it.

Also, here is an article i wrote on retracing. It’s not very common, but it can happen. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just the body’s response to healing sometimes.
