Since my last post on blogs you should read, I’ve since realized I left out a few.
Today, I will tell which ones they are.
1.) Dr. Tanase’s Blog- Dr. Adam Tanase is an Upper Cervical Chiropractor up in St. Louis, MO. His blog is updated regularly and covers not only Upper Cervical Chiropractic, but overall wellness concepts also. A very good read. I highly recommend it.
2.) Chiropractic Philosophy- This is Dr. Eric Russell’s blog. He posts pretty regularly, too. While not an Upper Cervical Chiropractor, Dr. Russell is about as straight a chiropractor as there is. His philosophy is hardcore. He teaches at Parker, so I’ve had the chance to get to know him pretty well. Personally, I think he’s an Upper Cervical guy deep down, currently being held prisoner by the Gondroids. Oh well, what can you do?
3.) Planet Chiropractic- This website is run by Dr. Michael Dorausch out in Culver City, CA. His blog covers all things chiropractic, in general. His site also has an overall health/chiropractic news section. In fact last week, I saw some news about a certain Upper Cervical event taking place this week in Las Vegas.
What is a Google Reader?
Google Reader is an RSS feed you can use to read your favorite blogs and/or news.
For those of you who don’t know what an RSS feed is, let me explain. Instead of going to all your favorite websites everyday, like this one for example, an RSS feed is a type of technology that aggregates all your favorite news and blog posts, bringing them to you in one place. Google Reader just happens to be one of those. All you do is subscribe to the news, blogs, or podcasts you enjoy most.
How Do You Subscribe?
The easiest way, in my opinion, is to go up to the website address bar above and look all the way to the right. You should see a little orange square with white stripes that looks like this:

Click on this little RSS icon. It will take to you to a screen that gives you the option of which RSS aggregator you can use, such as Google Reader, Feedbucket, My Yahoo!, or NewsGator. Pick which one you prefer most, and from now on, you’ll never have to go to that site again. It will always come to you.
Happy reading!
