The panic over the swine flu pandemic has reached insane proportions. Everyone is in total fear of this dreaded H1N1 virus.

In the Dallas/Fort Worth area alone, most school districts have closed until May 11th. This includes all 147 schools in the entire Fort Worth ISD, as well as schools in the Lewisville ISD, Carrollton ISD, Ponder ISD, Plano ISD, Denton ISD, and Richardson ISD.

The nationwide total of school closings is up to 300.  More schools will close if even one case of swine flu is reported.

There have been 141 cases reported in the United States so far. The state by state listing is as follows:

Arizona – 4
California – 13
Colorado – 2
Delaware – 4
Illinois – 3
Indiana – 3
Kansas – 2
Kentucky – 1
Massachusetts – 2
Michigan – 2
Minnesota – 1
Nebraska – 1
Nevada – 1
New Jersey – 5
New York – 50
Ohio – 1
South Carolina – 16
Texas – 28
Virginia – 2

The San Francisco Chronicle has reported that Bay Area hospitals are overwhelmed with people worried they have been infected by virus H1N1.

Ironically, this is not the first swine flu outbreak in the United States. You probably remember the dreaded outbreak of 1976… No? Don’t feel bad. I’d never heard of it until I saw this video at Planet Chiropractic.

Beware, though. The fear mongering in these old commercials might just have you falling out of your seat laughing.

Even the Parker clinic has put out information at the check-out counter about “treating” swine flu. When I saw this Thursday, I just shook my head. How can a profession with so much potential in our society let itself fall into the trap of the allopathic approach?

When I saw this the other day on the Huffington Post via Dr. Paul Hambrick, it reminded me of what we really do have.

Life Chiropractic University, produced an incredible study from the Sid Williams Research Center in 1994. The researchers took a group of HIV positive patients and adjusted them (using the Grostic technique) over a six-month period. What they found was that the “patients that were adjusted had a forty-eight percent (48%) increase in the number CD4 cells (an important immune system component).” These measurements were taken at the patients’ independent medical center, where they were under medical supervision for the condition. The control group (the patients that were not adjusted) did not demonstrate this dramatic increase in immune function, but actually experienced a 7.96% decrease in CD4 cell counts over the same period.”

Upper Cervical Chiropractors have the most amazing product in health care today. There is nothing that can take the place of having Atlas specifically adjusted into its normal and correct juxtaposition. Taking pressure off the brain stem will allow the body to innately fight off and destroy any foreign invaders.

It just makes sense.

Hey you need a “tweet this” plugin or a “share this” set of media tools so people can share this great information faster and easier!

I have the Share This plugin just above “Related Articles.” Although I have been thinking about putting on the “Tweet This” plugin.
