I was asked several weeks ago if I would be willing to promote the Non-Profit Chiropractic Organization’s search for runners at this year’s Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

I am grateful that Josh Heines and Diane DaCruz thought enough of this blog to ask. I pulled together some excerpts from www.npco.org regarding the race. Join them today and help a great cause!

Run With a Vision

Run with a vision of bringing hope, chiropractic health care, to the hurting around the world. Together, we can make a difference. We can make tomorrow a better day. We can help humanity to become a healthier people!

As a part of the NPCO running team, you truly are running with a vision to change the world. Whether you are spending time training, raising money, or running the race, each and every moment you spend investing in making a difference in the lives of others, will truly make this a life changing experience for you.

Goals and Vision

Join NPCO as we participate in the 2009 Bank of America Chicago Marathon! We have set a goal of $100,000 and with the help of generous supporters, donations and our runners we are excited in reaching our goal over the next few months!

All monies raised will:

1) Help NPCO create and start up new clinics in under-developed countries world-wide. Through non-profit clinics, NPCO is able to provide chiropractic care to the poor.

2) Help NPCO to continue implementing various chiropractic educational programs within the surrounding communities of each clinic. It is through these educational programs that we are able to build relationships with, and teach people about chiropractic.

3) Raise awareness by spreading the word about NPCO and its’ mission within various communities.
