Excellent example of how little things like a bone being a millimeter out of place or how one pill leads to another accumulates over time and has a huge effect on a person's health.

The Grand Canyon started as a puddle.

You know, Ben, that's actually down from what I thought the average was. I had heard it was 14 as the average. Either way, 13, 14, 17, or even 1 is too much in my opinion.

Great post, Brandon. I truly feel for the MDs who are trapped in that system as well though since they really don't have any other options in their treatment models and they are never trained any differently.

Did you guys know that the average senior in the US is on 13 different medications? And that when even the drug companies say that 3 should be the max!

Thanks Scott and Travis! It is indeed sad how this cascade of declining health is just mainstream acceptance. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

I was just talking with someone today that put some time in over at the local Hospital. He told that someone came in who was on 22 different prescription drugs and he got there in basically the same manner you just described in your post. This persons organs are shutting down and it doesn't look good. So sad where we are today as a society. Nice post, Dr. Harshe!
