Oh, those lovely allergies and the mucous they bring. Who doesn’t love the sneezing, wheezing, itching, and runny noses, right? Bring on the decongestants and antihistamines right?
Conventional medical wisdom says you want to pump your body full of these medications before allergy season starts, so your body is armored for the increased pollen count. This wisdom also suggests that you are faulty, that you can only be healthy when loaded up on drugs.
This line of thinking is incorrect. People who consume the Standard American Diet (SAD), who don’t sleep enough, and who don’t exercise enough are weakening their immune systems by choice. Throw in a vertebral subluxation that interferes with proper brain-body communication and you have a recipe for a really difficult spring.
Here are a couple of videos that I made addressing this particular subject. Enjoy!
