Looking Back on Sherman Lyceum

by Brandon Harshe, DC on June 3, 2010

This past weekend, my family and I had the chance to spend our time in Spartanburg, SC at Sherman College where they held Lyceum 2010. I must say it was a great event. I really enjoyed my time there and felt very blessed to hear so many great speakers.

I am also very grateful that the people behind Lyceum considered me for their speaking lineup. I had a great time speaking and really enjoyed the opportunity. Not a bad item to add to the curriculum vitae less than a year removed from Chiropractic school.

One of the highlights of the weekend for me was to meet so many people I’ve known on Facebook, but haven’t met yet. Yes, I know… Facebook isn’t all that bad.

Another highlight, by far, was meeting Dr. Reggie Gold. Dr. Gold’s CDs got me through the end of my time at Parker. It was great to hear him speak also (I’ve never heard him speak in person before), especially for such hardcore talk. I don’t think I’ll forget that one anytime soon!

Below are some photos of the weekend.

How could we pass up an opportunity to get a photo of the Harshes and Golds together?

Waiting to talk to two masters of Chiropractic philosophy, Dr. Rob Sinnott and Dr. Reggie Gold

It was fun finally meeting the great Rob Sinnott, DC!

The great Reggie Gold, DC up on stage!

Dr. Eric Russell making some serious points!

Enjoying the banquet... WITHOUT THE KIDS!!! WOOHOO!!!

Thanks to Missy Sandor for putting together such a great event. Missy was running around all over the place, but somehow kept it all together and completely organized. Amazing!

Looking forward to next year’s Lyceum!

Brandon, we were so glad to have you on the program, and on a personal note, it was so great to meet you, January and the kids in person!

Thank YOU Brandon for traveling so far to be with us! It was a pleasure meeting your family, an experience I hope to have again soon :-) ! I may organize, but it is the fabulous speakers and teamwork on campus that make the event great! Talk to you soon!

Brandon, congratulations on getting to speak at the Lyceum and being able to meet some chiropractic greats. Did you record your lecture and are you planning to post it on your blog in the future?

Thanks, Dr. Beclk! No, I didn’t record it. I’ve thought about putting the Powerpoint on the blog, but it’s based completely on my Done By Hand e-book, so for now probably not.
