Happy 4th of July to all the readers of The Atlas of Life.
On this day 233 years ago, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, which declared independence of the American colonies from the Kingdom of Great Britain.
Contrary to what many people believe, the Declaration of Independence was NOT signed on July 4th 1776. It was actually signed on July 2nd, 1776.
Be sure to impress all your friends with this little bit of trivia at your Independence Day party. When they ask you where you learned it, tell them “The Atlas of Life!“
