Practice Opportunity in Malaysia
We have a new chiropractic course here at the International Medical University which is a first for South East Asia. They have a ruling in this country at present which makes it a requirement that every foreign doctor of chiropractic must have 5 years practice experience before being allowed to practice here. That does make it difficult for us to attract chiropractors to come to Malaysia. By the time most get through 5 years of practice their roots have gone fairly deep and it does take a bit of an “earth quake” to shift them.
For me, being a young fellow of only 41 years experience in chiropractic practice, with some experience as a patient prior to traveling from Australia to Canada to commence studies at CMCC, I just squeezed in! Yep, I am a 1969 graduate from the Canadian Memorial College of Chiropractic with the last 13 years of my life as a resident in Malaysia.
We need switched on chiropractors, so if you see fit to run my little “hullo” on your site I will undertake to enter into discussion with anyone who is adventurous enough to do some pioneering in this wonderfully warm country where as yet there is no legislative control, no Insurance coverage for chiropractic, but a multitude of people who need chiropractic care.
Oh by the way, if there are any SCUBA divers out there, this is a wonderful place for diving. 28 deg C in the water just about constantly and good diving both here and in adjacent countries.

Practice on the Mediterranean in Southern Spain
