Anyone who has given birth in a hospital, or whose wife has given birth in a hospital, knows that they are expecting emergencies. Once the doctor has “delivered” the baby, the nurses are ready to rush the baby off to the nursery, healthy or not, separating the mom and her new child immediately.
Here’s a story where everything was done completely backward of what modern conventional medicine says is best, and things turned out okay. I thought this was an amazing story and wanted to share it here today. Enjoy!
Miracle premature baby declared dead by doctors revived by mother’s touch
Also, an FYI for you, January will return to posting something next Friday.

Anyone? Utter tosh! That was not the case with my newborn children, nor with anybody I know. What decade are you living in?
Seriously, is this standard practice in your backward part of the world, or is this (shock!) a case of a chiropractor misrepresenting conventional medical practice?
Gammidgy, thank you for such a nice comment. However, my first three children were born with nothing but arguments and struggles with MDs and nurses to keep our kids with us and not in the nursery. So my wife and I have lived those experiences. Not to mention the countless others we know who have experienced the same.
I’m glad that in your part of the world they don’t do that, but here in the United States, the hospital is absolutely the worst place for a woman to give birth, especially with so many OB/gyns pressuring the birthing mothers into unnecessary c-sections these days.
I love how you skeptics are quick to judge anyone who doesn’t have the ideal experience with the “scientific medical establishment,” saying we’re trying to misrepresent things. Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe your “scientific medical establishment” isn’t the holy grail you thought it was? Because I’ve had many more bad experiences with medicine than good, by far. I’m glad you haven’t, but you’re living in Lala land if you think they don’t exist.
