Chiropractic Principle #11: The Character of Universal Forces

by The Atlas Of Life on June 3, 2011

The forces of Universal Intelligence are manifested by physical laws; are unswerving and unadapted, and have no solicitude for the structures in which they work.

Convection currents in the asthenosphere, the ductile, putty-like upper portion of the earth’s mantle that shifts due to the warmth emanating from the earth’s core, guided two tectonic plates off the coast of Indonesia in a northeastern direction. These two plates, the Indian and Burma tectonic plates ground against each other, with approximately 1600 kilometers of the Indian plate slipping approximately 15 meters under the Burma plate. This movement resulted in the third largest earthquake ever recorded, shaking the earth on its axis in the process. The earthquake sent out shock waves in a radius that extended thousands of miles. These shock waves resulted in huge tidal waves, tsunamis, that decimated the island of Sumatra in the Indian Ocean. Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and India were also affected by the deadly tsunamis. In all, over 230,000 people lost their lives in the disaster, one of the worst in the history of mankind.

Why did this disaster happen? Who and/or what caused it?

Let’s first go back to Chiropractic Principle #1 to first answer the second question. Remember that “A Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence.” But sometimes the maintenance of existence requires the use of universal forces, which are destructive by nature.

This is where Chiropractic Principle #11 comes into place. If a Universal Intelligence exists in all things, supplying all its properties and actions and maintaining its existence, then in essence, Universal Intelligence is being properly expressed.

In this expression, universal forces often come into play to create a reorganization. The universal forces set up to govern the dynamics of the earth’s crust caused heat from the core to rise up and shift the asthenosphere, which resulted in a violent shift of tectonic plates. Just like the law of gravity is absolute, so are the shock waves that emanated from the epicenter of the Indian and Burma plate shifts. Universal forces carried on in such a way that the energy from the shock waves was transferred to the ocean, causing the devastating tsunamis.

Many times, in the case of a physical injury, universal forces come into play and override our Innate Intelligence’s ability to adapt. Universal forces are destructive, and even though Innate Intelligence is always working toward the greater good of the body as a whole, sometimes it cannot work with a combination of limited matter and universal forces. When universal forces override innate forces, the end result is often negative to the overall health and well being of the person.

This is exactly what we see with a vertebral subluxation. A vertebral subluxation will interfere with the body’s ability to transmit mental impulses from the brain to the body, and in so doing will speed up various degenerative processes, creating things like bone spurs, atrophied muscles, and malfunctioning organs.

This is why Chiropractic is so important. It restores the body’s ability to adapt and heal. We cannot avoid life, and sometimes life throws us a curveball in the form of universal forces. Give your body’s Innate Intelligence the best possible circumstances to work with and get your nervous system checked ASAP!
