About
The Atlas of Life is a blog dedicated to all things Upper Cervical Chiropractic related. If you are not sure what Upper Cervical Chiropractic is, it a specialized form of chiropractic dedicated solely to the top two bones, or vertebrae, in the neck- Atlas (C1) and Axis (C2).
My name is Dr. Brandon Harshe and I started this blog with the intention of getting the word out about this powerful form of chiropractic. Most people think of chiropractic as the stereotypical Yellow Pages ad with the man wincing in pain, holding his arching lower back as lightning bolts shoot out from the lumbar spine. I am here to tell you that is wrong.
Sure, chiropractic alleviates pain. But at its core, chiropractic is about restoring proper function to the nervous system. This is done by removing interference in the form of a bony misalignment of C1 or C2, often referred to as a vertebral subluxation.

I post new articles on this blog five days a week. Mondays are usually devoted to patient testimonials or patient-directed information. Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually opinion pieces. Wednesdays are devoted to interviews with doctors, students, or patients. Fridays are typically random or event-related articles.
I work hard on this blog to make sure my readers have fresh new material every Monday through Friday. If you enjoy what I write, I encourage you to tell friends and family. You never know if something you read here could possibly help someone you know down the road.
